Choosing outfits that fit both the season and your personality makes such a difference in how your photos feel.

We always tell our seniors to think about color first. Fall in the Lowcountry doesn’t always mean bright orange leaves, but it does bring beautiful golden light and rich textures. Neutrals like cream, tan, or soft gray look timeless in that glow, while deep jewel tones like rust, olive, or plum photograph beautifully against Charleston’s coastal colors. When you pick shades that work with the natural backdrop, everything just fits together in the best way.

Texture adds so much depth to your photos. Think cozy knits, corduroy, denim, or even a lightweight flannel if the weather cooperates. It doesn’t need to scream fall, just feel comfortable and natural. For guys, we love a classic button-down layered over a tee.
